What is Title I literacy instruction?

Title I is a federally-funded program which provides literacy instruction for qualifying students. The lessons are in addition to the literacy instruction students receive in their regular classrooms. Students qualify through literacy assessments administered by classroom teachers. Lesson instruction is delivered out of the regular classroom in my Title I classroom. Most lessons are daily, for approximately 30 minutes.
